I only attended 3 lectures for the entire quarter not because I thought I was too smart, but because I didn't understand anything Professor Harding was trying to explain. He was ridiculously confusing. The class was at 8:OO AM, so I would rather sleep than listen to him. Reading the book and doing the study guide problems were absolutely essential for doing well. He wrote study questions that were helpful for the essay portions because he asked bascially the same thing. He followed the book like the bible. Although he didn't admit it, I think he used the questions provided by the publisher. I thought his test questions were very tricky--20 MC and 3 essay questions to be completed in 1hr15min. As for section, I recommend going--the TAs handed out practice problems that could be helpful. Maybe I didn't have the knack for econ, I found the class really hard. I studied a lot for the second midterm and final because I did really bad on the first midterm. I guess all ended well because I got an A.
