Quarter: Winter 2026

Professor Westrup gives really great and comprehensive feedback on students' work in a way that is very different from most of what students' get from a large school like UCLA. It is clear she cares about student learning, and her assignments are very relevant to the class's topic - profile and review writing seem to be great practice for anyone wanting to go into the arts and entertainment writing space. The class also allows students to improve their professional writing, branding, and outlook, which is very valuable. It also is nice that there are multiple opportunities to revisions on work, and that extensions are available. Class discussions are also very informative and engaging. FYI class is contract grading with base grade being A-.
