Professor Gilliland is amazing at making archives an interesting topic. Even with 4 and 6 hour-long classes, she manages to keep our interest. She's incredibly busy, but is down to earth. There are always great stories, and good examples for all the topics covered. The assignments are a little scary sounding (somewhat hard to understand the prompts for us normal people! ;) haha), but she always wants to help and grades fairly.
