Winter 2025 - I really enjoyed this class. The lectures were engaging, the conversations were interesting, and I felt that the material was contemporary. I thought Dr. Khimasia was very well informed and passionate about the works she taught, and on top of that she was very intentional about helping students. I would definitely love to see more classes offered by her in the future.

Winter 2025 - I really really enjoyed Professor Khimasia's class! It is one of those classes where you get out what you put in. So, if you do the work and really engage with the class you will definitely find your understanding of performance, art in general, and even philosophy greatly expanded. Anna makes it truly a pleasure to come to lectures and makes theoretical art very accessible to students who are willing to learn. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in taking a good deep dive into contemporary art. Anna takes her teaching very seriously so do not expect this to be an easy class but surely a very good one!
