The only reason I got an A in this class was the TA.

Professor Yang doesn't have well prepared lectures. He seems to just start writing stuff on the board, deriving things and making mistakes. He'll tell funny stories occasionally, but it's clear teaching isn't what he does here.

Don't mistake hard content with a bad lecturer, Yang Yang's classes were useful, but it was definitely something that needed to be supplemented with homework and practice problems. His lectures could be at times hard to understand, but were still useful. He definitely cares about the students, which can be shown by the effort he puts into preparing for the class.
