This class is a good science GE to take. The labs aren't very difficult. The lectures weren't very engaging and dragged on, but she posts them on Bruin Cast. But I got on fine in the class as a non-STEM major and the labs basically teach you everything you need to know.
All quizzes and exams are open-note and online, so passing this class is extremely easy.
And the extra credit she offers REALLY boosts your grade.

Cannot recommend taking this class more to anyone looking to fulfill a life science GE. Super easy. Professor Hernandez is very understanding. Grading is easy and tests are taken online/open note. Lectures are on zoom, recorded, and most people stopped going in person to them after 2-3 weeks.
