Amazing professor, loved her course! Offered lots of extra credit throughout the quarter. Class consisted of a short paper, weekly news summaries, a group project, and weekly quizzes. Assignments weren't graded too harshly, besides the weekly news summaries that were graded by the TA. Although grading took forever, I would definitely take a course with her again.

Quarter: Summer 2022
Grade: A
Aug. 1, 2022

I took the Labor Studies 10 with this prof which is introduction to labor and the workplace. This class was very fun and easy! There is no required textbooks, all the reading is provided, and all you really need is a subscription to the Los Angeles Times. There are weekly article reflections (super simple) and weekly group quizzes which was really just a reflection on the topic of the week. There is extra credit and a final group project/paper. She is super flexible and understanding, I would def take this class again super easy A.

Quarter: Fall 2019
Grade: A
Dec. 21, 2019

This class was SUPER EASY. Tia is extremely nice and also quite funny. To be honest, I did not do any of the readings. There are weekly quizzes in class based on the readings but I would just skim through the readings and I got an A in the class so I guess that worked! I would definitely recommend this class if you want to learn more about the law pertaining to labor and employment. The only thing I did not like was that there was a paper due the week of thanksgiving so that kind of ruined my thanksgiving break. Other than that, I enjoyed this class!
