30% of the grade is attributed to two 12-question MCQ quizzes. So if you miss a question, you’ll be feeling it. The transcription exercise was also difficult and completely different from anything a student would have had experience in the past, unless they worked as a transcriber (class mean was 86/100). He does curve up a bit though and that’s what probably gave me that A- instead of B+.
