Spring 2025 - Took anth 140 spring 2025. Dr. Thein is a great lecturer and genuinely cares. Homework is manageable and not hard at all, however there were issues with a TA grading to harshly in this course, though Dr. Thein paid attention to feedback and spoke to the TA about it. Lots of opportunities for extra credit. Attendance isn't taken, but there are some days you shouldn't miss because of in class assignments that count towards your grade. All these days are noted in the syllabus though, so it's not out of nowhere. There is a group project at the end of the course that's a ten-ish minute podcast created in groups of 4.
