Quarter: Spring 2016
Grade: A-
June 9, 2016

This class is a waste of time. Professor Greenfield repeats her own theory of social change in every single lecture, she uses material with herself in them and overall has a huge ego. This entire class is very common sense and taking it would be a waste of time. Even though it's a very easy class, the midterm and final are too tricky and specific. I recommend saving yourself a headache and avoiding this class.
If you decide to take it beware that the textbook written by Professor greenfield is used in only the first 3 lectures, costs about $50 or more and is out of print so you'll have a hard time finding it. The rest of the material are empirical articles she posts on CCLE. There are in class activities pretty much every time she plays a movie (which is often). There is a group presentation and participation is mandatory for discussion sections. The class is also graded on a straight curve.
Be smart, save your money and avoid this class.

Quarter: Spring 2016
Grade: P
May 31, 2016

The class is largely based on slides, readings, and textbooks. Having been in the field for a couple of decades, having written her own theory, and having taught all of those for supposedly at least a few years, it is SURPRISING to see that Professor Greenfield reads all of her scripts from her notes, instead of presenting them properly. Not to mention 90% of her notes are on the slides. It is extremely painful for me to sit through her class since most of the material is read DIRECTLY from slides, at the same time she has pop-up in class assignments so you can't miss classes if you want a good grade.

For a professor that reads six of her former students' emails telling the class how meaningful and good her class has been to them at the beginning of the quarter, she does NOT impress. At all.

Quarter: Spring 2015
Grade: A

Professor Greenfield was great! Her tests were easy. The grading of this class was based on a midterm, a final, and a short paper. The topic was very interesting. The entire class was based on the textbook. So if you read the textbook really well and go to lectures, you will get an A. The textbook has many pictures and it's super easy to read. Take this class, you will do well and enjoy her lectures.

Also, if anyone is interested to buy the textbook, I am selling it for $30.
It's pretty new and no highlighting and marks.
Please e-mail me, if interested.
