This class is a fairly easy class, only consisting of three assignments throughout the quarter. The only homework for this class is to write and prepare your speeches, the first one being a 40 second introduction of classmate, then a 5 minute informative speech, finally an 8 minute persuasive speech. She also gives participation points for giving feedback on peer speeches. I would definitely take this class again because my public speaking ability greatly improved, and I could tell that my classmates' abilities did as well. Professor Arbabzadah was super supportive throughout the entire quarter and truly wanted her students to do well. She has a sense of humor and very high energy which keeps the class engaging and fun.
This was one of the chillest classes I've taken at UCLA, your entire grade is 2 speeches and 10% participation. The professor however has a very unique and out there personality and can be a lot sometimes.
