prof. woolf is definitely a kind and sweet lady, always friendly and always wanting to help us. her grad TA had a major attitude problem and had no idea what she was doing ..especially for the review sessions which did not help at all. woolf posts all her notes online so you'll be fine, i just have to warn you...the test questions are somewhat picky and prof. woolf does get a little boring at times as most of the class dozed off. But if you have an interest in psych, which a lot of people do, take the course.

TOO EARLY. at 8 in the morning u wont be going to class. i only went to class like 5 times the entire year but still got an A because I studied my ass off the night before the midterm and the exam. Do the extra credit--it REALLY HELPS. thats the smartest thing u can do in that class. she's really nice and the material is very intersting but i just couldnt get to class. she posts her powerpoint online which is what the test is on. TAKE THIS CLASS. very easy A and nice professor too

Yes Prof. Woofl is a very nice lady, but this class is extremely boring...it is really hard to stay awake, the good this is that she doesn't really keep you in the the whole 2 hours. My suggestion, don't go to class, make sure you read and look @ he lecture notes. You will do fine in the class if you do this. The test are pretty straight foward, they are a few tricky questions but no big deal.Just remember don't go to class, I mean unless you really need help falling asleep.

Very boring (and very early) lectures...don't go to them. All you need to do is get the lecture notes and attend the review sessions for the midterm and final. I literally went to class 4 times throughout the entire quarter: the first day of class, the day before the midterm, the day of the midterm and the day of the final. I memorized everything on the lecture notes and the review sheets the night before the midterm (and the night before the final) and i got an A in the class. I took her class a few years ago so she might have changed the way the class is structured. Psych 10 with Woolf was the easiest A I've gotten at UCLA (besides Astro 3).

Woolf tried to make the lecture material interesting and did lecture in an organized manner. Her tests were also fairly straightforward with perhaps a few tricky questions slipped in.

Honestly, the class is pointless. Don't take it. You think it is easy, but then the tests are really tricky. Especially Pysch 15. The terminology in Psych 15 is even more impossible than that on ER! Read the book, buy Lecture Notes from ASUCLA. DON'T GO TO CLASS...NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!
