I really enjoyed this class. Professor Haselton was one of four professors, and she was by far my favorite. The workload is very light; there are readings before every lecture, two papers per quarter, and three quizzes per quarter (you can drop one). The lectures are very engaging, and you can tell that the professor really loves what she does. The slides are posted on BruinLearn after every class, so if you miss a lecture or want to review for quizzes, you can. Overall, I highly recommend taking this class; it's an easy way to knock out a bunch of GEs.
took this as my freshman year cluster. it's a really interesting class but extremely disorganized, i guess since it's taught by multiple professors. lectures are fast-paced, sometimes unclear and incoherent, and instructions for assignments often needed clarification. ill-prepared during quizzes and exams; they'd never have enough papers, scantrons, etc. nonetheless, i still thought it was fun, it was just hard to study for it since you didn't know what to study for to begin with since it was so unorganized
This cluster is actually (and unironically) so goated. Switched out of the climates cluster mid week 2 bc i was bored and this one worked with my schedule, thought i was gna absolutely hate it. I've heard nothing positive ab any of the other clusters but this one was genuinely super interesting and an easy A BUT it does depend heavily on ur TA and if they like you lowkey.
take this cluster with friends if you can, but i had none going in and made good ones that made the class so funny to laugh at. the content is actually unreal like this cannot deadass be a real class but it is! quizzes are decent and fair, essays again depend on if ur TA likes you so just make them believe ur smart and engage in discussions early on and ur set.
10000% would reccomend this class !!!
