Quarter: Winter 2019
Grade: A+

I always love her classes because of how easy the exams are. They should be designed to test if the students have learned the material (I don't mean rote memorization), not to test how smart they are, or simply to prevent too many A's, and I think this is also Vese's teaching philosophy. She tests what she wants you to know from taking the class. Her 155 is a bit easier than her 151A(because you have to memorize tons of lengthy formula). However, Chris Anderson's 151A, B are even easier. Taking any class from these two professors would give you a nice quarter and to drag up your gpa which was likely damaged by the crazy 115A and 131A classes.
Shockingly, there are still students who only got 60~80 range for her tests, I just don't get why. If they were not having health/family/work issues, then the only reason I can give is that they just didn't study. There's no way that you study and get less than 90% for her exams, impossible!

Vese is a good professor. She is a very nice, hardworking person, as shown by the fact that she personally grades all of the papers and has many office hours dedicated to helping students. The midterm and final are quite easy and she gives every resource needed to aid students in succeeding in them. Her only flaw as a professor is that her lectures are sometimes difficult to follow. She writes a lot but is soft-spoken, and the material is highly theoretical; I would have preferred a stronger lecturer to guide through introductions to these complex topics. Despite this, I would still recommend taking this class with Vese.
