I absolutely LOVED this quarter of the cluster. Leo is just such a cool, knowledgeable guy who definitely knows what he's doing. This class was super easy, but that doesn't mean I didn't learn a lot. The topics we covered were intriguing and had me thinking about them for hours after class was over. Also, he adapted to zoom seamlessly and didn't take up the whole class period. The final project was fun and he made sure you got to know your classmates, which is important during these times.

I have no complaints about Leo. Probably one of the most chill seminars you can take at UCLA. The graded elements of the class included attendance, discussion leadership, very short homework assignments, and assembling in groups to draft and present a short story that needed to touch on the topics discussed in class. This class is a great way to learn a lot about something you’re interested in without cutthroat grading policies and get to interact with your peers on a more personal level (Leo is an Oxford man, so it is no surprise that his seminar is highly collaborative!).
