Enakoutsa is a very nice professor and truly wants every student to succeed. This is his first quarter here and he had a rough start with the pacing and had to post additional videos which I was not a fan of, but he quickly adapted and was more efficient. The homework amount was very reasonable, and going through slader for problems I did not know how to do helped a lot. He was not required to explain the conceptual part of the math, but when he did I didn't follow what he was saying very well.
The material for 32A is computational, and he does a good job at going through examples and answering questions and I would most definitely choose him again for this class if I were to go back, but for a non computational math class such as 32B I would be hesitant to choose him. His tests are very reasonable and GO TO THE REVIEW SESSIONS. He goes over exactly what you need to know and I found them very helpful.

Koffi is a very kind and approachable professor who is passionate about teaching. However, this was his first quarter at UCLA, and I think he had a difficult time adjusting to the pace of the quarter system having previously taught only on the semester system. At the beginning of the course, he spent a lot of time on concepts that didn't really need that much elaboration, resulting in him not finishing on time and assigning hours of prerecorded lectures for us to watch. He realized this wasn't a sustainable approach, though, and stopped doing this, seemingly learning to manage instructional time better in the coming weeks. Homework was challenging and long, and it's very easy to lose points, so I highly suggest comparing answers with classmates or verifying them online. He gave two midterms and a final, all of which were pretty fair, as well as timed quizzes which counted as 10% of your midterm grade.

He is very approachable during office hours and also hosted a few optional test review sessions. He doesn't always explain things in the clearest way during lectures, so office hours are very helpful if you didn't understand the material that well. Lastly, he does have a thick accent, but I don't really think it made him hard to understand. Some of my criticisms of Koffi are a result of his transition to the quarter system rather than his actual teaching ability, so keep that in mind. I'm sure that he will improve over time.

Prof. Enakoutsa is a very nice person and does seem to care about his students. Unfortunately, it's hard to understand his lectures sometimes due to his accent and choppy mic. Sometimes he tries drawing diagrams during lectures, but, to be expected, it's hard to draw clear 3D diagrams, so you're better off looking at the book's diagrams. The prof almost never strays from the book's material, so when his lectures become hard to understand, just read the corresponding chapter in the book. Sometimes, the tests had vague/unclear questions, but Prof was pretty responsive and made sure to not include those types of questions on the final. I wouldn't actively try to take his class again because I feel the learning was a bit slow, but if I end up with him again, I wouldn't mind.

Professor Enakoutsa is truly outstanding. His knowledge and passion for his subject matter are evident in his lectures, which are engaging and thought-provoking. He has a genuine interest in his students' success and goes above and beyond to ensure they understand the material. Professor Enakoutsa's dedication to his field is inspiring and makes him an asset to any academic institution. I highly recommend taking a course with him.

He's funny and a nice guy, but you can't understand anything he says. He just says "are you with me" every 5 minutes, when nobody is with him. He's tests are easy though you just memorize the old ones. Take his class, skip lecture and watch professor leonard, memorize the previous tests and its a free a

Koffi is my funniest lecturer last quarter. Absolutely hilarious if you're into that type of teacher.
His accent was strong, but I got used to it after a week or two. The biggest problem is not the accent but how he doesn't explain or break down the concepts but just narrates it as a repetition of the textbook. When there's a hard concept to teach he would just repeat the definition again and again in his non-logical manner, and say "is it clear? is it clear?", and nobody would respond to him, and he gets triggered and goes "yes!" as a response to himself. So, bad teaching combined with an accent, I'm not sure if it's just me but the lectures were just nightmares for me; terribly hard to follow; total waste of time; I stopped going after midterm 1.
BUT, THERE IS A TRADEOFF. His homework and exams are super easy. HW questions are straight from the textbook, and test questions are just variations of similar problems. Easy A if you put in the work.
Conclusion:
*strong independent learning ability and just wants an A ---- sure, take it
*care about high-quality teaching and learning ---- leave!

Enakoutsa is probably a great guy, however, he is unintelligible due to his thick accent. If you want a math teacher to actually teach you, find another class. However, if you can teach yourself, the textbook is great, and the tests are manageable. VERY IMPORTANT: Enakoutsa does not like to write new exams, so when given old exam material, memorize it, and you'll ace the exams.

Lectures aren't recorded, though he just follows the textbook so if you miss a lecture you can just take notes on the chapters.

Tests are very similar to practice exams, final is slightly harder but the 3 hours is more than enough time if you know you stuff.

One annoying thing is that the homework is always behind on what we're learning, as in we'll be doing homework on stuff we learned like 2 weeks ago so it's not going to help us on our upcoming tests or quizzes.

I think as a class it's pretty easy but just make sure you don't make silly mistakes and touch up on some trig identities from BC and you should be fine.

To preface this, it is true that professors with accents tend to be given lower ratings by students, which is not entirely fair. Professor Enakoutsa was perfectly intelligible, and this review is not based on his speaking ability. However, his handwriting is quite difficult to read, and everything on screen during lectures is his handwritten notes.
This is not an issue as soon as you realize that EVERYTHING in those notes and in the slides provided on Bruinlearn are ripped word for word from the textbook, and that following along in the textbook will provide you exactly the same educational experience as the lectures.
If you are taking this class, buy the textbook. Read the textbook. If something from lecture is confusing, it's printed clearly in the textbook. Don't bother with anything else.
Otherwise, the homework load was generally manageable, although it was noticeably lagging behind the class, which was itself lagging behind the pace outlined in the syllabus. Despite this, the professor commented that our class is the first time he's managed to finish the course material on time. My TA, Venkat, was excellent, and was a great resource for clarifying things from the lecture.
Midterm and final were both alright, one question each on four topics, sometimes with sub-questions.
