The class was online with multiple choice, open book/note midterms and final so it was an easy class, however the professor was a bad lecturer and I feel like I didn't learn much at all in this class. Her lectures were all over the place, and sometimes she would repeat herself, or forget what she was talking about, or contradict herself in the next sentence. When watching the lecture recordings, I would often play it back multiple times since it was just super confusing to understand her overall point.

Easy A, but you barely learn anything and her lectures are boring, bad, and frustrating.

As someone who got a C+ in Econ41 I got an A in this class so its possible to do well if you didn't do well in 41. There's a midterm 30% and final 40% both multiple choice and 4 projects 30%. I just found it to be less mathy than Econ 41 so it was possible to do well. This is my third time taking Boswell as I took her for Econ 1 and 2 and I will be taking her again for Econ 104. Solid grading scheme and fair midterm and final. The projects can be a pain though if you have no coding background.

I absolutely love Professor Boswell's teaching style. Her slides include everything you need to know for the exams, and she provides ample cheat sheets for both the midterm and final. She is also passionate about teaching and is very understanding of students' circumstances. I paid less than 50% attention in lectures, but reading through her slides allows me to learn everything by myself. She also gives practice exams and weekly practice problems from the textbook, definitely recommend doing to get familiar with the concepts. On the downside, the group assignments we had to do were very time-consuming. I was fortunate enough to have teammates who each contributed something and always stayed on top of tasks, so choose your teammates wisely and don't procrastinate on the group assignments.
