I took this class with Ignacia Rodriguez. During my quarter the bulk of the class was organizing a forum regarding DACA. Ignacia is at the forefront of the immigrants right movement and acts an attorney for the local community. There are no midterms and there is a short essay on Your Immigration Story due at the end of the quarter.

Lectures can be long, but are split into a lecture portion where you listen to Ignacia or guest lecturers speak about the current political climate; then a group portion where you work to organize the event.

Material is interesting and often revolves around undocubruins.
