Professor King is an awesome professor! This class is pretty straightforward, in how it's laid out, but your grade is completely dependent on your TA. Also it counts for a Writing II credit.
The readings are pretty easy; Gilgamesh, Antigone, The Aeneid of Virgil, some poetry, and The Book of the City of Ladies. There are some reading check quizzes, but they don't really count for much, but the essays do, make sure you have a strong Thesis. The midterm is very similar to the final, some multiple choice, and some essays. As long as you get your facts in order, they are pretty forgiving on small errors. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this class

Professor King is wonderful! She made the lectures engaging and completely worth her students' time. The class is very straightforward- reading check quizzes, three essays, a midterm, and a final. Your grade definitely depends on the TA that you have, so if you note that your TA thinks this class should be graded like it's an Upper Div (it shouldn't be), just switch sections.
