Professor Wong is so goated. He is probably one of the best professors I’ve had since transferring here, if not the best. He genuinely cares about his students and will do his best to help if you need support. The homework is very reasonable, and the overall structure of the course feels fair and well thought out. Your grade is heavily weighted toward exams. There are three exams that make up 60% of the grade, but he drops one if it improves your overall grade. The exams themselves aren’t unreasonable. He’s very clear about what he expects, and the questions are similar to the homework problems. Also, he doesn't take attendance but posts notes. That being said, you still need to put in the work and study for the exams, but getting an A is definitely doable because Professor Wong really sets you up for success.

TONY MY GOAT! This man is actually incredible and this was definitely my favorite math class that I've taken at UCLA. The class has no final, with 25% of the grade being a group project. There are three very reasonable midterms and he drops one, so it is quite easy to get a good grade in this class. The professor is very sweet and helpful and seems to genuinely care about student learning. 100% take this class.
