Quarter: N/A
Grade: N/A
March 11, 2011

I took The Origins of Sociology, which wasn't what I expected, but not bad. There's some difficult reading at the beginning of the course but it gradually gets better later on, Rousseau, Locke etc. Take this course if you have an interest in the subject. Prager is a great teacher, if you really listen in on what he's saying he has some pretty interesting things to say. I didn't have to study much at all to get the B I received at the end of the class.

Prof. Prager is the nicest guy, very aproachable, and helpful. He really cares about his students- I was in a class of about 40-50 people and i think he knew almost every persons name really early in the quarter. His lectures are interesting, and he is very good at explaining otherwise confusing material. He will like you if you come to his office hours- I would highly suggest it. Take a class with him.
