Winter 2025 - This is actually a super easy class (maybe for me because I knew most of the concepts going in). Nienhaus is a really good lecturer, and very engaging. You do have to write down his notes pretty quickly though. His main flaw is that he is super slow in grading. We got our final scores back I think around one or two weeks into spring quarter. He takes a lot of time to respond to even regrade requests. Other than that, I think he is nice. Would definitely take upper divs with him.

Fall 2025 - Nienhaus is an ok professor, definitely very well versed but most lectures are just him talking for an hour which is fine. The tests were challenging, the grade book consisted of only 3 assignments Midterm 1, 2 and the Final. Both midterms had about 3 to 4 questions making mistakes really costly. But he does grade generously. Overall not too easy but not the most impossible class.
