I actually took 127c, which is not listed for some reason. This was the hardest class I have ever taken. The midterm is worth 25% of the grade, and it was a total curve ball. The final which is worth 75% of the grade, is a ten page paper, and has an extremely general, overly broad, paragraph long prompt which he expects you to respond to in a specific and concise manner. The lectures are amazing, and you will learn immensely in the class, but be warned: the class is unreasonably difficult.

took prof. getty for 127C. he is a real gem for the history department. his lectures are masterclass. he weaves the lectures seamlessly along with his sense of humour. the class itself consists of a midterm and final. midterm 25% final 75%. the midterm was tricky in itself. all i have to say is to read and make sure you understand the question he is given. I got a B on the midterm. the Final however is a 10 page take home. overall grade i got was an A-.
