I took the Honors Collegium 12 course. This is truly an excellent class! Professor Scharfe is funny and he tells lots of stories and you will get a good education. You are able to relax in this class, as there is no midterm nor final. Just readings which are very fair. You are expected to attend and pay attention in class. You can take notes if you like. You have one large final presentation (either powerpoint, or just present in front of the class) on a book about Indian culture/religion and your entire grade depends on it. As long as you speak clearly and show that you've worked hard on it, you should be fine. Try presenting early on in the quarter than later as he appreciates this and it shows that you are responsible! Enjoy this class and you will learn a lot! :)
