Honestly, love this class and love this man. Very kind guy who knows a TON about immunology. Basically, he gives a 50 minute lecture every class and then two people present papers about topics seminal in immunology (discovery of VDJ recombination, CAR-T, primary immunodeficiencies, discovery of TLRs, etc). The final in our quarter had us tie in immunology concepts to discuss SARS-CoV-2, including putative vaccine designs! Honestly, I had a ton of fun even if it was only a 2 hour a week seminar. He’s also very open to talking about graduate school and research. 10/10 recommend if you’re into immunology/want to learn more or want to pursue a career in research.
