Quarter: Fall 2025
Grade: A

This was my first chicano studies class that i have taken in college. In the beginning, i was struggling because the professor assigns weekly readings and about 5 in class assignments throughout the quarter based on the readings. I was getting low grades since I didnt understand the meanings behind the readings and how she would grade the assignments. After I went to office hours, she clarified everything perfectly and is very helpful/understanding. You can tell this professor cares about her students and genuinely wants to help.

The course contained in class writing assignments, one midterm, and a final project. It is easy to pass this class with an A if you do your best on the in class writing assignments. The only thing is that the weekly readings can be lengthy. Overall I learned a lot in the class and had a great experience.
