Class format included one lab report every week, and three 20-min quizzes (non-cumulative) spaced out through the quarter.
Professor Mesghali is a pretty funny guy and a reasonable professor. I wouldn't say the class was easy, but I went in with most of my EE 100 memories forgotten, and with some elbow grease did well. (I have heard his circuits class is hard, but this lab is more about application than learning equations.)

Mesghali is a very funny professor, and he had some quirky mannerisms that I was not able to fully appreciate in ECE 100. After enduring the absolute cluster-f of that class exactly one year ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how different 110L felt. Granted, it is a two-unit circuits measurements lab class, and would definitely not warrant the rigour of an actual circuit theory class. The class was structured 35% lab reports, 25% quizzes, 20% pre-labs, and 20% performance. Lab reports were fairly straightforward - just show up, build the circuits, collect data, and answer all of the discussion questions. If you encounter any issues with the circuit, Mesghali or the TA would help examine your setup for errors. The pre-labs were free points, as the TA just checked for completion, and the questions that were asked to answer were substantially easier than the ones encountered in 100. The performance score comes at the discretion of the TA and Mesghali, but generally if it's obvious you're actively engaged in the lab you'll be awarded full credit. The quizzes are what really distinguish the final grades, in my opinion. While the questions are not exactly difficult (they were mostly fact recall and less so the lengthy calculations we did in 100), the time constraint was somewhat limiting and it's easy to make silly mistakes. I recommend just memorising what he writes on the board before each lab, and you'll be fine. A caveat to the grading is that your final grade is dependent on the class average - I'm not sure what this entails but I've had some friends get Bs or B+s even though they got the majority of the points on the other assignments.

So sorry for the ECE 100 students experiencing WWII under Mesgali but this class was really not too shab. Labs are easy and we got out almost every week after 1-2 hours of the 4 hour block. TAs and Mesgali were helpful if during labs if you ran into any fish. Quizzes were short and tested if you could regurgitate formulas we used in lab. You don't have to actually understand anything in this class because he thinks you already did enough of that in 100. 10 minutes of studying (memorization) is good enough. Lab reports followed a simple format and were graded very easily. He also ended class after week 9, making him the King of the Century.

This class was surprisingly fine. The reports aren't nearly as bad as the physics labs, and Mesghali was a really nice guy. I went PNP because I never studied and did horribly on the quizzes, but other than those the class wasn't bad at all.

Disclaimer: I took this class online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mesghali is a great professor - he really cares about his students. The labs can be tedious, but because they were online, I'd recommend them - they are shortened and simplified because of this. The lab reports were fairly easy to write, and you just follow what's asked of you in the manual, and should get a 100% on them. The pre-labs and the quizzes were definitely the harder parts of the class. For quizzes, make sure you study his lecture slides, and statements that he emphasizes during lecture are good indicators that you should know them for the quiz. For the pre-labs and for anything else I was confused on, go to office hours - I was pretty much the only one there, so I was able to ask all of my questions and get them answered!

Good prof for 110L.

If you get AJ as your TA (will be listed as JOSHI, A.C.) you're in luck. He does all the grading and is really generous. Most people get 95+ on every lab. He also helps a lot if youre running into problems for your lab.

He lectures a bit in the beginning of each lab then lets you do the lab. His lectures lay out exactly what you need to do each lab and probably wehat you need to know for the quizzes. People ended up just taking pictures of the whiteboard with their phones.

There are quizzes throughout the quarter which he will tell you the dates of. First one is a joke. For the other two just make sure you review (20 minutes should do it..) the labs that the quiz covered. Concepts, calculations, etc.

Prof is very generous for course grades.

Best EE 110L professor there is. His lectures before the lab are very helpful and quizzes are pretty straightforward. Don't let the first quiz throw you off though. It was ridiculously easy, while the second one was much longer and somewhat harder. Just study his lectures before the lab and you'll do fine on the quizzes. And if you have a great TA like Abhijeet, you'll do well on the lab reports too.
