In comparison to 134A/B, this class is a significant step down in terms of work. However, the meet once a week format makes feel like most of the class is done asynchronously. The topics we covered were relevant and important to the continuation of our work in child development, and I felt that the focus on professional development was one of the biggest strengths of this quarter. Spring 2024 was a weird quarter to try to run a class in this format, and in my opinion Sheva did as well as she could have to be accommodating for students. Grades were almost never updated on CANVAS and it really keeps you guessing, but luckily the P/NP option relieves some of the stress. Sheva is always extremely concerned with student learning and advancement, and I personally wish I had taken the time to reach out sooner. 134C serves a good conclusion to the A/B/C series and ties things together. Sad to leave my ADP cohort behind.
