Spring 2025 - Dr. Deweese is a fantastic instructor. She really makes an effort to show that she cares for her students, and a lot of her research focuses on chemistry education. You're definitely in great hands in terms of learning the content and having great practice with it (along with the team of fantastic TA's and LA's). That is to say, though, the tests can be pretty tricky. It was her second year teaching the course so some things were changed, but the tests stayed relatively consistent in being challening, but Deweese has buffers so it is ok. There can be a lot of homework, but as long as youre proactive about the Stemble you should be good.
