Fall 2022 - Ben is incredible. I can't believe this is the first time he's ever taught-- he teaches in a way that not even tenured professors could fathom. He's absolutely incredible and I wish more teachers were like him. If you have the chance to take a class with him, do it. He's *Chef's kiss*

Winter 2025 - This was a pretty easy class, GE wise, and also interesting for those first learning what linguistics entails. Ben tries his best to make this class engaging, but it does get a little hard to pay attention for 2 hours on certain things. I really struggled with phonetic transcriptions, but that was only a small part of the whole content and I thought the homeworks/exams were all very reasonable.
