This class was NOT COOL at all...like everyone else said, there was no happy medium in Huffman's tests. The first midterm was so easy that he made the second midterm and the final impossible. I wish I could have taken someone else and saved my Physics grade. The demos were cool, but not worth it, especially since nobody I knew learned anything in lecture. If you take his class, you're on your own.

Prof Huffman is the best physics professor I've had here. He tries really hard to explain difficult concepts clearly. Also, he brings in a lot of demonstrations to lecture which really helps visualize what he's talking about. I think he's very concerned about teaching the concepts well and he's always available to answer questions and to provide help solving the homework problems. Definitely take him for physics if you can!

Overall, the class wasn't too bad. He has a problem with balancing out tests either making them too easy or too difficult. However, if you do all the homework problems and write down the derivations he gives you, the tests aren't so bad. In the end, your grade won't be as bad as you think it is.
