great professor, very organized, friendly and always wanting to help. Don't expect to be able to take notes because he always goes off on tangents, but still manages to stay on course with the syllabus. he has a deep liking to astronomy and his lectures reflect that as he always tried to engage us in the material. I must say that his exams are not necessarily hard...more like.. his questions are EXTREMELY picky...overall, Huffman did a pretty good job. oh yea, this guy never cracks a smile but always manages to pitch a great laugh to the class with this silly jokes.

Class is pretty easy just hope you get a good TA. All you need is a good TA with a good review before the exams and you'll get an A. You don't even need to show up to class. Try and get Quinn, she's the best TA.

huffman is not a hard professor. his curves are quite lenient and he doesnt demand much. and astro 3 isnt supposed to be a hard class...but for some reason, the two of those still dont equal to an easy A class. hes a good teacher, he really tries to get the students to learn something, but you still gotta pay attention and read and go to class or else its not gonna work.

lectures are super boring. aren't very helpful towards studying for exams. hard to hear him in class and hard to understand. astronomy is soooooooooooo boring. he's pretty straightforward in telling you what he wants you to know. but it wasn't as easy as everyone says it is. I had a hard time cause I'm not a science major at all. A lot of memorization. others found it to be super easy, so I don't know what went wrong with me. I thought it was hard.
