The best classics prof i have taken here at UCLA. Honestly, he makes things interesting, and sure depending on the course the reading is boring, but what do you expect? It's classics, and unless you adore you will think some stuff is boring. I am a classics minor and i keep checking to see when he teaches so i can take the class with him. Brad as the TA is really cool and the prof is very understanding and informed. THE BEST!!!!

Professor Dyck\355s classics class was a really good class. The professor is extremely well organized, and lectures with great enthusiasm and passion. The exams and papers were very fair. The readings were also very interesting. If you want to do well in his course, attend all his lectures and take good notes on them. Review them before exams. Pay attention to the key terms that he puts up on the overhead, as they are critical for exams. Professor Dyck is an outstanding professor. He is knowledgeable in his subject and truly enjoys what he does. A great professor and a great person\326.Definitely take his classes!
