Prof. Ritterbusch is so amazing. She is truly passionate about doing research and with and for communities rather than on them, and that really shined through in the way she structured this class. I personally enjoyed every lecture and felt like I had gained many insights. Prof. Ritterbusch and the teaching team in this class were overall very understanding, accommodating, and willing to help.
The class essentially consisted of a quarter-long project in we conducted out own qualitative research that composed of 2 interviews and 1 focus group. The workload was was manageable and honestly enjoyable. I truly recommend this class. Choose a research topic that you feel passionately about, engage in the lectures, and you will love it!
