Winter 2026 - This is a great class for anyone looking to get into the film industry, and Professor Franklin makes it abundantly clear that he cares deeply about student learning. He is extremely communicative and reachable, and goes out of his way to assist student with questions about their careers and lives. The class itself gives great and realistic insight into the current state of the industry, and provides students with a great opportunity to practice skills that they will need to enter the film business (from script coverage and notes to articulation and assertion of personal opinions). Anyone who wants to get into the film industry, or anyone who just wants to learn more about how movies and tv shows get made in modern day Hollywood should definitely take this class!
