Quarter: Fall 2016
Grade: A

Wonderful Russian Professor. Super clear lectures and great homework problems. Exams are a little tough but interesting. Also a very nice person smiles a lot (although not usually noticeable because of his mustache).

He is a brilliant man, but is very difficult to understand because of his accent and he moves unbearably quickly through the material. It is difficult to ask him questions, and he very much dislikes slowing down from his rapid pace to help a student understand a topic. It was this that eventually led me to drop his course in Week 5.

Tough Course. Really learned something though. If you want to go to grad school, take math from this guy.
