Professor Encinas is a really nice and laid-back professor. He cares more about student progress than anything else. For the summer, participation/attendance was 25%, essay 1 was 25%, essay 2 was 25%, and a poem recitation was 25%. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS! He helps you a lot with your writing and formulating ideas during them, especially if you aren't a strong writer.
