Description: (Same as Biomathematics M280 and Biostatistics M280.) Lecture, three hours. Requisites: course 100C, Mathematics 115A. Introduction to theory and design of statistical programs: computing methods for linear and nonlinear regression, dealing with constraints, robust estimation, and general maximum likelihood methods. Letter grading.
