Biomedical Technology and Physiology

Description: Lecture, four hours. Enforced requisites: courses 111A, 111B, Life Sciences 2, Physics 1A, 1B, 1C (or 6A, 6B, 6C). Developments in biotechnology and their impact on diagnosis and treatment of disease, basic engineering principles, and designs that lend themselves to deciphering physiological states, and application of new technologies in clinical practice and biomedical research. Letter grading.
