Nursing Theory Development

Description: Lecture, two hours. Requisites: courses 202 or philosophy of science (may be taken concurrently), 206A. Preparation: 4 units of nursing theory. Critical analysis of role of theory and theoretical frameworks in developing nursing research. Application of skills fundamental to development of theory in nursing and integral to use of theory in nursing research. Letter grading.
