This guy is a major a**hole, he's definitely not concerned with his students. He won't let you re-take the midterm even if you have a valid medical reason. He also refuses to weigh the grading policy fairly. Good professor to take if you know your stuff and do all the homework and go to all the quizzes and have no medical problems. He goes way too fast in class but I've heard he's helpful during office hours. But if you have medical issues, don't expect this jerk to accommodate you in any way shape or form.

Summer 2023 - Horrible class. By far the worst class Ive ever taken anywhere * Ridiculous amount of hw, totally unrelated to lecture content * Disorganized, unclear lectures. Difficult to know what section we are on * Unreasonably fast-paced * Indecipherable handwriting (not his fault but accent tbh) Don't be fooled by his fake reviews lol, you dont need to be sherlock holmes to decipher which ones are fabricated. Pathetic behavior if you ask me--just screams a fragile ego. Honestly I have no idea how this guy is employed by UCLA. He gives off a good facade of a caring prof but this class has caused me so much unnecessary stress. Avoid at all costs
