Learning Assistant Program in Life Sciences Core

Description: Seminar, three hours; activity, one hour. Enforced requisite: course 3. Limited to sophomores/juniors/seniors. Training and supervised practicum for advanced undergraduate students who assist in preparation of materials and development of innovative instruction methods with guidance of faculty members in small course settings. Students trained in current topics in pedagogy and education research. May be repeated twice for credit. P/NP or letter grading.
