Description: Seminar, four hours. Limited to Freshman Summer Program students. Exploration of interdisciplinary dimensions of medical representation, with emphasis on cross-cultural 20th-century portrayals of profession, including representations of doctor/patient relations, healthcare sites and circumstances, aging, alternative treatments, and mental health. Offered in summer only. P/NP or letter grading.
