Description: Seminar, four hours. Requisites: courses 225A, 225B. Designed for MS and PhD students. Introduction to conceptualizing and writing fundable research proposals. How review process--culture, structure, procedures, timetables, and outcomes--operates in different research environments. Application of grant writing principles and skills to develop research proposals following National Institutes of Health guidelines. S/U or letter grading.
