Fall 2025 - Gurujii’s my absolute goat, where do I even start. If you already have an understanding of the language, you’re chilling. If not, you’ll have to work a little bit harder, but still not difficult. Learning two scripts can sound hard, but he makes it very easy. Gurujii is so funny and makes the class so enjoyable. He offers so much help, answers every email right away, and his main goal is for everyone to do well. Tests are not hard as long as you pay attention in class. Do the homework and show up (yes he takes attendance but you can join on Zoom and even if you don’t you can make up what you missed to earn back points), and you’ll earn the easiest A ever.

Fall 2015 - I took the entire intro series in 2015-16. Guruji is an excellent and hilarious professor who really cares about her students. If you want to learn, you will, and she'll do everything she can to help you. The class isn't terribly hard, and she makes sure to keep the exams reasonable. I'd highly reccomend taking the series, and I wish I could do intermediate if I had the time.
