Description: Lecture, three hours; laboratory, one hour. Requisite: course 1C. Use of contemporary Israeli song and video to explore Israeli collective imagination and various Israeli sociocultural issues to familiarize students with different aspects of Israeli daily life and popular culture, while teaching them multiple speech acts in both formal and informal contexts and enriching their Hebrew vocabulary and its retention.
