International Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs

Description: Lecture, 15 hours; discussion, 15 hours. Limited to high school students participating in Model United Nations (UN) Summer Institute. One-week intensive summer course, including lectures in international relations and outside study. Development of position papers in simulation of United Nations and final presentation in respective UN committees. Particular emphasis on public speaking and cooperative debate. May be repeated for credit without limitation. Offered only as part of Summer Institute. P/NP grading.
