Professor Burnett was a pretty good lecturer and an overall cool guy. He made lectures enjoyable and it didn't hurt that the course material was pretty interesting. The course reader, although long, contained articles that I actually wanted to read. Burnett encouraged us to look at why the world works the way it does through a completely different eye than we are used to. Regan Maas was a good TA...she made discussion enjoyable, knew her stuff, and actually cared about her students. The midterm and final were very straight forward, especially if you go to the review sessions. I would definitely recommend him.

Prof Cosgrove is one of the best professors i have had at UCLA. He is definetly the most approachable professor ive had, and will go out of his way to talk to students and make sure they understand the topics. He is extremely passionate about the subject and it shows in his lectures. Cosgrove taught the topics so that we cuold apply it to our everyday lives, and it helps you to think about the world in a different way.
