Description: Lecture, three hours. Requisite: course 251A. Presentation of those aspects of applied capital theory that are relevant in decisions concerning investment projects in first part of course. Differences between social and private benefits and costs (shadow prices) for foreign exchange, capital, and labor, with applications to public investment decisions, in second part of course. S/U or letter grading.
