Description: (Same as Physics M122.) Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour; outside study, eight hours. Requisite: course 101A or Physics 110A. Senior-level introductory course on electrodynamics of ionized gases and applications to materials processing, generation of coherent radiation and particle beams, and renewable energy sources. Letter grading.
